On 2 June, Blykalla welcomed a group of visiting politicians to ARTS, our test facility in Oskarshamn. The visit was part of a wider tour of the Simpevarp area, and we were glad to host the delegation on site and show our work first hand.
The group followed the test rigs and spent time in the control room, where our team walked through how the lead-cooled technology operates and what we are currently testing. The level of engagement was high, with thoughtful questions throughout about the technology, our progress and the road toward a new generation of reactors in Sweden.
We are pleased with both the visit itself and the conversations it prompted. As the energy debate in Sweden continues, we believe there is real value in giving decision-makers the chance to see operating hardware in person. Our thanks go to everyone who took part, and our doors remain open to those who wish to understand what the next generation of Swedish nuclear looks like in practice.
