Blykalla has been selected for the Norrsken100 2026, the annual list of 100 early-stage companies that Norrsken Foundation considers most promising in solving global challenges at scale. It is the second time the company appears on the list.
The 2026 list was compiled from more than 1,400 nominations from 80 early-stage investment funds. Energy and electrification is the largest sector on it, with 26 of the 100 companies, up 44% from a year ago.
"It is an honor to be back on the Norrsken100. Clean baseload power is the foundation of an energy system Europe can rely on, and it is encouraging to see that recognized again. We are grateful to Norrsken and to our partners for their support."
— Jacob Stedman, CEO of BlykallaThe Norrsken100 is an annual selection by Norrsken Foundation, a Stockholm-based non-profit that backs entrepreneurs working on global challenges. It highlights companies that do good through what they build, rather than as a side effect of it.
This year, Norrsken points to energy as the area where talent, capital and momentum are coming together. As more of the economy moves onto electricity, the need for clean power that is available around the clock grows with it.
Being featured on the Norrsken100 again is a welcome recognition as Blykalla works toward its first advanced nuclear reactor park in Sweden.
