Blykalla is pleased to announce the appointment of Jacob DeWitte to its Board of Directors. DeWitte is the co-founder and CEO of Oklo, Blykalla's strategic partner, and a leading voice in advanced nuclear energy in the United States.
DeWitte brings nearly two decades of experience across the nuclear sector, with prior roles at GE, Sandia National Laboratories, and the naval reactor research laboratories. He holds a PhD in nuclear engineering from MIT and was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in energy.
Most recently, DeWitte was appointed by President Trump to the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), joining leaders from across the technology and energy sectors in advising the White House on strengthening American leadership in science and technology.
His deep expertise in fast reactor technology, fuel cycle strategy, and nuclear commercialization makes him a valuable addition to our board as Blykalla continues to advance the SEALER and build toward deployment. Welcome to the board, Jacob!
