Blykalla welcomes Yousef Husein as a Nuclear Engineer and Radiation Protection Specialist

We are happy to introduce one of our Nuclear Engineers and Radiation Protection Specialists, Yousef Husein.

Yousef holds a PhD and Masters degree in Nuclear Engineering from MEPhl and a Bachelors in Physics from Jordan. He most recently worked at CERN, where he conducted Radiological Environmental Impact Assessments (REIAs) for projects like the Fire-Induced Radiological Integrated Assessment (FIRIA) and the Future Circular Collider (FCC), ensuring Radiation Safety compliance for these major international projects. Before his role at CERN Yousef worked at the Jordan Research and Training Reactor (JRTR) where he established the Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program (REMP).

Yousef is driven by a deep curiosity to solve complex challenges and contribute to a safer world– goals that align perfectly with his role at Blykalla. As a key Radiation Protection Specialist, he plays a vital role in radiation protection and shielding design.
