Meet Pierre who recently joined Blykalla as a Mechanical Component & System Engineer.
Originally from France, Pierre moved to Sweden six years ago and now lives in Stockholm with his wife and two children. Since moving to Sweden he has worked for Vattenfall as an Engineering Manager on a bio carbon capture and storage project in Jordbro, as well as a Mechanical Engineer at Phoenix Biopower, contributing to the design of an innovative biomass power plant concept.
Pierre also brings extensive experience from his career in France, where he served as Design Office Manager at AIT specializing in heat exchanger design, Development Engineer at Framatome focusing on nuclear power plant maintenance, and Mechanical Engineer at Alstom working on boiler pressure equipment design and plant general arrangements.
At Blykalla, Pierre has taken on the role of Mechanical Component & Systems Engineer, where he will focus on steam generator design, the critical component that converts heat from the reactor's hot lead into steam to drive the steam turbine. He will also contribute to the digitalization program
