Almedalen is Sweden’s most important forum for policy, industry, and civil society. Each year in Visby, decision-makers and policy leaders gather to shape the national conversation on everything from energy and technology to security and sustainability. This year, with nuclear returning to the center of Sweden’s energy policy, the dialogue is more relevant than ever.
Throughout the week, we’ll be hosting a series of curated conversations and gatherings focused on the role of SMRs in Sweden’s energy system, industrial competitiveness, and infrastructure. With stakeholders across politics, industry, and finance now aligning behind nuclear, the timing has never been more important.
These sessions are not listed on the public program, but are part of our broader effort to accelerate the conversation around the path to deployment of SMRs in Sweden, nuclear’s role in supporting AI growth and data center expansion, strategic partnerships and public-private financing models, long-term energy resilience for Sweden and Europe, and industrial competitiveness in a rapidly shifting global landscape.
If you’re already part of the Blykalla network – or if you’re actively engaged in the nuclear, energy, or digital infrastructure space – we encourage you to reach out to events@blykalla.com for details.
We look forward to meaningful dialogue in Visby.
