With a Master’s degree in Industrial Design and Engineering from Chalmers, Lars Wettre brings 19 years of experience in product development—taking products from initial problem definition to mass production. His portfolio spans a wide range of products, from the 50g lamp-top CableCup to the 250kg stainless steel exhaust system for the Scania V8.
The majority of his experience lies within the automotive industry, having worked with Daimler, Volvo Trucks and Cars, Scania, and a broad range of other OEMs from the supplier side.
Most recently, Lars served as Head of Design at CabinAir, an automotive supplier based in Stockholm. There, he was recruited to design and build ionizers, eventually leading an international engineering team across Stockholm and Shenzhen, China, and collaborating with automotive customers worldwide.
At Blykalla, Lars joins as Lead Mechanical Engineer for the first-of-a-kind SEALER One. With a strong background in managing complex challenges and conceptual development where no blueprint exists, he aims to contribute his skills to this groundbreaking project.
He has always believed that technological innovation holds the key to solving environmental challenges—and sees Blykalla as a vital part of that solution. He’s excited to be part of the effort to bring SEALER into production.
